St James Yoga Camps

Join us for a week of mindful movement exploration

9-12 pm

$200/ child

Yoga, Dance, Games, Arts  & Crafts, Journaling, 

Mindfulness, Meditation, Nature Time & daily themes. 

Use of storytelling, props, musical instruments and sensory toys (scarves, squish toys, wands, balls, parachutes, feathers, pom poms) to help explore yoga concepts and learn about mindfulness.

Camp schedule:

  • Daily check-in with theme exploration (kindness, friendship, self-love, empathy, using your voice, peace and non-violence)

  • Morning yoga & creative movement/dance

  • Snack

  • Journaling & Mindfulness Practice

  • Outside games & obstacle courses 

  • Arts & crafts (finger painting, drawing, nature crowns and swords, glitter jars, eye masks, bead crafts, peace flags)

  • Closing circle & reflection time

Backyard Yoga
Camps

Have one of our qualified instructors lead a yoga & art camp or weekly class in your backyard or neighbouring park this summer!

How Does It Work?

CAMPS

1 week M-F (2 hours of yoga, dance, games, art, mindfulness, play based journaling)

$200

 

WEEKLY CLASSES

$80 for 4 weeks ($18/class)

$144 for 8 weeks ($16/class)

 

Price is per child

Minimum 5 children 

 

DATES FOR WEEKLY CLASSES:

 

BLOCK 1: June 1-July 20th (8 weeks)

 

BLOCK 2: July 27-Sep 14th (8 weeks)

Why Mind Moves?

Mind Moves combines yoga with dance, games and playful based mindfulness practices that slowly build up to meditation that your child will find fulfilling and relaxing.

 

We use evidence-based developmental movement patterns and cognitive phases of children's development to teach kids about WHY mindfulness is important and useful!

 

We help empower kids to understand their own bodies and minds!
